Perfect Match Endless
Perfect Match Endless is the survival mode of the shape-fitting puzzle. You start with 60 seconds and the clock only runs down. Every shape you bank buys time back, a perfect fit the most (25 seconds on level 1), and perfect fits in a row build a combo that multiplies your points up to ×5. Every 5 shapes the level goes up: harder shapes, smaller refunds, and later a tighter perfect. Every day brings a new endless run with its own leaderboard. Prefer one run a day? Play the daily run.
Controls
- Drag on the board to move the shape. Arrow keys nudge it one pixel.
- Scroll to resize, or press + and −. Shift+scroll to rotate, or press Q and E.
- On a phone, slide a ruler to rotate or resize, tap its edge to nudge, or use two fingers: twist and spread at once to rotate and resize. Lift one and the other moves the shape.
- Space or the BANK button banks the shape and brings the next one.
Scoring
Banking a normal fit scores the points shown on the meter, from 22 at 90% match up to 89 at 99.99%. A perfect fit banks 100 points and adds 3 seconds to the clock. Ten shapes make a score out of 1000, and the clock starts on your first touch.
Endless mode
One run a day not enough? Endless has no ten shapes and no ceiling: a clock that only runs down, time bought back with every bank, combos for perfect fits in a row, and levels that keep getting harder. There is a new endless run every day with its own leaderboard, and you can play it as often as you like.
Not a memory game
Perfect Match is not a memory-match or tile-matching game. There are no pairs to flip and no rows to clear. It is shape fitting only: one coloured shape, one outline, and the last one percent of alignment is where the points are.
