Privacy policy

Perfect Match has no accounts and asks for no personal details. This page explains the little that is stored, where, and why.
What the game stores on your device
The game keeps a few values in your browser's local storage: a random player id so your results can be grouped on the leaderboard, your best run per challenge, your daily streak, and whether sound is muted. None of this identifies you, and clearing your browser's site data removes it all. The game does not set tracking cookies of its own.
What is sent to our servers
When you finish a run, the game sends the run's id, your random player id, the points you banked per shape and your play time. That is what the leaderboards and challenge links are built from. We also log anonymous gameplay events, such as a run started, finished or abandoned, together with the country your request came from. We do not store your IP address or any name you type anywhere, because there is nowhere to type one.
Hosting
The site runs on Cloudflare, which processes requests to deliver the pages, protect against abuse and produce aggregate traffic statistics. Cloudflare's own practices are described in the Cloudflare privacy policy.
Advertising and cookies
Content pages on this site, such as this one and the tips pages, may show advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, and learn how Google uses data from partner sites at policies.google.com. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent before any advertising cookies are set. No ads are shown on the game board while you play.
Children
The game is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Your choices
You can clear everything the game knows about you by clearing this site's data in your browser. Results already on a leaderboard are tied only to a random id and a generated name, not to you. If you want a specific run removed, contact us with its link.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top will change with it.
